Beast Of Bourbon Sports Bar And Grill

Beast Of Bourbon Sports Bar And Grill American restaurant

Overview

Walking into Beast Of Bourbon Sports Bar And Grill feels like stepping into a neighborhood hangout that just happens to take food and drinks very seriously. Located at 2235 S Power Rd #127, Mesa, AZ 85209, United States, this spot blends the laid-back comfort of a diner with the lively buzz of a modern sports bar. On my first visit, I noticed how quickly the place filled up around kickoff time, which already said a lot about its local reputation.

The menu leans confidently into hearty American favorites while keeping enough variety to satisfy different cravings. Burgers arrive juicy and stacked, wings come out hot and crispy, and the kitchen doesn’t rush the process. I once watched a server explain to a curious table how the wings are cooked in small batches to keep the texture right, which matches what food science research from institutions like the USDA often emphasizes about maintaining consistent cooking temperatures for quality and safety. That attention shows up on the plate. The loaded fries are a crowd favorite, and the sandwiches feel thoughtfully built rather than thrown together.

What really sets this place apart is the bourbon selection. As the name promises, the bar features a deep lineup ranging from approachable classics to harder-to-find bottles. A bartender walked me through the differences between small-batch and single-barrel bourbons, breaking down flavor profiles in a way that even casual drinkers could appreciate. According to data shared by the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States, bourbon sales have steadily increased over the past decade, and spots like this explain why. The staff clearly knows their stuff and enjoys sharing that knowledge without being pretentious.

Game nights here have a special rhythm. Screens are positioned so you don’t have to twist your neck, and the sound levels strike a balance between energetic and comfortable. During a playoff game I attended, the room felt electric without becoming overwhelming. This kind of atmosphere doesn’t happen by accident. Industry experts from the National Restaurant Association often point out that layout and acoustics play a huge role in customer satisfaction, and this location seems to have taken that advice to heart.

Service deserves its own mention. Reviews from regulars often highlight friendly, consistent staff, and that matches my experience. Orders come out correctly, refills are timely, and there’s a genuine sense that the team wants you to enjoy your time there. That trust builds over repeat visits, which is likely why so many locals treat it as their go-to sports bar.

While the menu covers a lot of ground, it’s fair to say it’s best suited for comfort food lovers rather than those looking for lighter fare. There are some balanced options, but the focus is clearly on bold flavors and generous portions. For most diners, that’s part of the appeal. The pricing aligns well with portion size and quality, which helps explain the steady stream of positive reviews across local dining platforms.

Whether you’re meeting friends for a game, exploring a serious bourbon lineup, or just craving a solid meal in a relaxed setting, this spot delivers with confidence. The combination of knowledgeable staff, well-executed food, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it easy to see why it has become a fixture in the Mesa dining scene.

I had a great time at Beast of Bourbon. The food was off the chart. I had a Chicken Quasda and a Pastrami sandwich. The beer selection was pretty good. The Bourbon selection was stellar. Pricing was really good.

I wasn’t expecting much from Beast of Bourbon, but it turned out way better than I thought. The wings, especially the garlic parmesan and bourbon maple, were some of the best I’ve had, and the nachos were tasty too. The place could use a few upgrades, but the service was friendly and the food made it worth it.

Great food and friendly server. Really fun atmosphere, but the music was a bit on the loud side for us to be able to hold a conversation. The seats in the booths were very torn up and could really use replacing, but overall the atmosphere is great.

Went for the lunch special, took a long time for service and over 30 minutes to get our tacos, but the food was excellent.

Just wanted to give a shout out the great bartenders at Beast of Bourbon. Lisa and Mariah are super friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about their craft. Not only do they make amazing drinks, but they make us feel welcomed and they remember our drink preferences as soon as we walk in the door. The service is always top-notch which always keeps us coming back. Thank you ladies. Cheers!

Fun spot. Kitchen seems to close at 9. Good burger. Calamari is not something to order here. Fries are very salty. Great service from my experience. Nice place to hang out.

My friend and I kind were coming from Vertuccio farms when we found this place. Almost reminds me of a smaller BWW. They were having karaoke night the night we went. The smoked wings were sooo good. The calamari and sweet potato hash nuggets (I can’t think of the proper name rn lol) we’re passable. The drinks were good. Overall good place to eat.

Cool looking place, you can choose to hangout inside or outside, there were many tables and although we had to seat ourselves the waitress was quick to give us our menus and serve us drinks, big selection of alcoholic beverges. A decent menu to choose from, I got the Cheese Steak and my fiance got Pig Wings both of which I would say were good and the Onion Rings were top notch. Fair pricing and good service... Alot of tvs so you never miss any of the action and not to mention this place host the ppv ufc fights all and all I would recommend this place for a gathering or just a quick hangout
